The rapid introduction of the COUPA sourcing function now enables the three strategic purchasers to quickly and easily carry out tenders electronically, compare offers in a structured manner and tap into new sources of supply.

Purchase-to-pay: Development of a group-wide ordering process and transfer to a shared service center

This customer is a service company that operates throughout Europe. The operational procurement process, consisting of shopping cart functionality, approval process and processing of incoming invoices, was standardized throughout Europe. After replacing the existing on-premise solution, IT costs were dramatically reduced and a truly end-to-end process from ordering to invoice processing was introduced for the first time.

The central requirement was the introduction of an approval and audit workflow for all expenses in the company. Due to the findings of the auditors, this process had to be introduced within a short period of time. Invoicing process

The customer needed a central solution for processing incoming invoices. With COUPA's Invoicing module, paper invoices, incoming PDF documents and eInvoices can be consolidated and processed in one central location. As order data and goods receipts are also available in COUPA, incoming invoices can be easily checked. With a flexible workflow solution, invoices can easily be checked by the responsible employees if necessary. This has made work considerably easier for the finance department.
